John-Ross Slane is a London-based session hairstylist and creative director, originally from Scotland.

His work spans editorial shoots, campaigns, and runway shows at London and Paris Fashion Week, collaborating with designers and international creative teams. He has contributed to projects for UK power brands including Burberry and Selfridges, alongside extensive e-commerce work for global fashion names.

In 2022 he became a founding partner of The House of Keune by Bloom, London’s newest destination salon, where he continues to create refined, wearable looks for a loyal clientele.

Earlier in his career, JR taught at Vidal Sassoon and Saco, with international education work spanning Europe and Asia, shaping the next generation of stylists and sharing his craft worldwide.
